Ohio State launched a university-wide AI(X) Hub and is hiring 100 AI-focused faculty over five years.

OSU’s AI Fluency initiative aims for every undergrad (starting with the class of 2029) to graduate “AI fluent,” and it just got national coverage and a federal NSF grant for responsible AI.

Ohio is the first state requiring all K-12 districts to adopt AI use policies, with a model policy due by Dec 31, 2025 and local policies required by mid-2026.
